From 5 to 10 July 2026 the 19th edition of the Festival del Sole, the largest international event of 'Gymnastics for All' in Southern Europe, returns to Riccione. Founded in 1989 as the first kermesse capable of combining sport and holidays, for over thirty years it has brought thousands of young athletes, accompanying persons and families from all over the world to the Riviera.

The 2026 edition has already exceeded 3 thousand confirmed participants from 16 nations, including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Faroe Islands, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Portugal, San Marino, Scotland and Switzerland. For a week, the waterfront will be transformed into a huge open-air stage with free performances open to the public.

The programme includes the parade of nations and the opening gala on Sunday 5 July, morning training sessions, evening performances, workshops and side activities from 6 to 9 July, and the closing gala on Friday 10 July. The evening performances with free admission will take place at the Arena Roma (Piazzale Roma), the Arena Nord (Piazzale Aldo Moro) and the Arena Giardini (Giardini Montanari area), where the 'Festival Village' will also be present.
